This grant offers those eligible £350 towards the cost of installing an electric vehicle (EV) charger for their home. Removing the need to depend on the public charging network, you can affordably charge your vehicle to capacity in your own driveway, at a time that suits you.
From 1st April 2022, the EVHS will no longer be open to homeowners (including people with mortgages) who live in single-unit properties such as a bungalow, detached, semi-detached or terraced dwelling. Installations in single-unit properties must be completed by 31st March 2022 and a claim submitted by 30th April 2022. The scheme will remain open to homeowners who live in flats or apartments, and people in any type of rental accommodation.
This grant provides businesses with £350 per charging point, up to a maximum of 40 points, toward the costs of installing electric vehicle (EV) chargers. Open to eligible businesses, charities, and public sector organisations, workplace electric vehicle chargers are an investment in future-proofing your business. Pay-as-you-go chargers are also available to cover the costs of providing your employees with a simple method of charging their electric vehicles.
To avail of either scheme, installations must be carried out by a Government authorised installer. PAC Group are authorised for both schemes, and our installations are carried out by a fully qualified Electrician, with NICEIC certification and manufacturer's warranty provided.
EV chargers are designed to safely and efficiently charge electric vehicles. PAC Group are authorised installers of leading manufacturers PodPoint, Wallbox, and Rolec; offering our customers across Northern Ireland a wide range of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions.
The Government originally planned to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2040. However, to support the fight against climate change and reduce carbon emissions, it is now expected that the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles will be banned by 2030. Now is the time to consider going electric.
Contact us today to arrange your free consultation with an experienced Electrician, who will identify your requirements and recommend a suitable EV charger based on your needs.
