PAC Electrical have undertaken specialist training to become an authorised installer of Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers.
PAC Electrical have undertaken specialist training to become an authorised installer of Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers under the Government's Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) and the OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme.
Encouraging increased use of electric vehicles is part of the Government's strategy to tackle climate change, with the overall aim of reducing carbon emissions to achieve projected target reductions.
PAC Group have teamed up with PodPoint and Rolec to provide a wide range of electric (EV) charger stations to homes and businesses across Northern Ireland.
Installed by a fully qualified PAC Electrician, with NICEIC certification, and manufacturer's warranty - EV chargers are designed to safely and efficiently charge electric vehicles - and their installation cost can be supported by Government grants so residents and workplaces throughout Northern Ireland can benefit from support to encourage the wider use of electric and hybrid vehicles.
The EV Homecharge Scheme provides grant funding of up to 75% towards the cost of installing electric vehicle charge-points at domestic properties across the UK, up to a maximum grant value of £350.
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge-points for eligible businesses, charities, and public sector organisations, up to a maximum grant value of £350 per charging port.
