The Crowcon T4 is a market-leading multi-gas detector that simultaneously detects the four most common gas hazards: Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), flammable gases such as Methane, Propane, and Butane, and Oxygen depletion.
The unit uses one sensor for each gas, which increases reliability and ensures fast and effective detection.
Rated to IP67, the T4 is suitable for use in a wide range of industries, hazardous areas, and confined spaces. An optional clip-on filter can also be used to keep sensors clean in dirty or dusty environments.
Durable by design, the T4 is Crowcon's toughest portable yet. Featuring an anti-shock rubber casing, the unit has been drop-tested from 4 metres onto concrete.
The T4 has an intuitive menu, which makes it easy to operate with minimal training required. The unit also has a large single button for simple operation, even when wearing gloves.
All data readings are logged in the unit, including alarms and bump tests, and the data can be easily exported.
With a battery life of up to 18 hours, the T4 lasts for even the longest of shift patterns.
Unique to the T4, the Time Weighted Average (TWA) Resume function ensures toxic gas exposure is calculated accurately over an entire shift, even if the unit is switched off for a break or during travel to another site. The T4 is the only portable monitor that continues to detect and monitor gas levels when turned off.
The device features a front-mounted and backlit display, with an optional 180° flip for easy viewing for the wearer.
Crowcon’s visual ‘traffic light’ status indicators provide constant visual assurance that the T4 is operating correctly. Packed with powerful features, the T4 makes everyday use safer and easier.
It is essential that T4 units are serviced and calibrated every 6 months to ensure the sensors are detecting gas levels accurately, and to ensure your compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation.
